MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE
Lymphatic drainage massage (vodder method) is a specialised, gentle massage, specific movement of the skin to aid lymphatic drainage & to facilitate the removal of metabolic waste from the body helping to boost the immune system.

Highly beneficial for management & care of Lymphoedema & other chronic swelling issues such as post operative swelling, puffyness & bloating. Cellulite, Digestive Problems, Migraines, Stress & Anxiety, Sinus problems, skin conditions such as Acne & Rosacea & Pain Management after an injury.

It is also a highly effective treatment for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, ME, Fibromyalgia & Long Covid.

This treatment helps boost the immune system, eliminates toxins & waste from the body.

MLD for Post Operative Care.
Assists the body's natural healing process by decreasing swelling, brusing, inflammation & pain, Improves blood circulation & reduce soft tissue from hardening, aids scar/fibrosis healing, stimulates collagen synthesis, reduces physiological & psychological stress & improves posture, particularly after abdominoplasty.
MLD for Pre Operative Care.
It is recommended that individuals under go between 1-3 one hour sessions, ideally a week before surgery to eliminate toxins & waste, promote detoxification, increase blood flow, facilitate healing, support the immune system & relaxes the nervous system. Pre surgery MLD significantly reduces the risk of post operative complications, scar tissue formation, infections & bruising.
Please always follow the aftercare advice provided by your surgeon and aftercare team.
The first appointment after surgery will require a minimum of 1 hour to complete a consultation, assessment and treatment.
